This is us. I'm 22 and he's 26. I was born in Georgia, but I was raised in Arkansas. I love that place, and it'll always be home to me. I moved to Idaho in January of 2012 for college, and despite the fact that at the time I felt like I was making a huge mistake moving to the Potato State, it turned out to be the best decision I ever made. Andy is a born-and-raised, flannel-wearing, gun-shooting Idaho boy. He served a two year LDS mission in Albania. We met in February of 2012. In the backseat of a truck…but it's not as sketchy as it sounds. Promise. I was 19 and he was 23, but we didn't start dating until a little while later. After countless dates to the $3 theater, a bunch of just-for-fun trips to Utah, and one very sweet proposal accompanied by the prettiest ring I've ever seen…we were married on June 1st, 2013 in the Salt Lake City temple.
It was the best day ever.
